* Gentle Flow Vinyasa
75 minutes

Vinyasa means a sequence of movements synchronised with the breath. A mindful, meditative class focusing on correct breathing techniques (pranayama) followed by a gentle flow of movements to allow energy to flow through the body. The class finishes with a 15 minute talk through relaxation or Yoga Nidra (yoga sleep). This is a lovely class to get you started on your Yoga Journey.

** Fast Flow Vinyasa
75 minutes

This class is for the more experienced practitioner. A certain level of fitness is required as the postures (asanas) require strength and flexibility and integrity. This is Yang Yoga and works on the muscular system to build strong muscles over time. Sun Salutations (Surya Namascara) are a foundation of this Vinyasa class.

* Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is perfect to totally relax and calm the body and mind to help relieve stress and anxiety. In this practise, there is usually only about 6 postures in the sequence, and they are held for a longer period of time for a passive stretch .Props , rather than your muscles are used to support the body. Suitable for any level of practitioner and particularly beneficial after a Fast flow Vinyasa class.

** Vin Yin Yoga
75 minutes

Yin Yoga is the opposite of Yang and involves using passive postures which are held for a longer period of time to stretch the fascia ( connective tissue of the body ) Props are used to assist the postures. Yin is a very meditative practise to calm and soothe the mind and body. Yin is suitable for every level of practitioner and is especially suitable for athletes and sports enthusiasts who will benefit from the static stretches to promote flexibility and also relaxation.

* Pregnancy Yoga
75 minutes

Yoga in pregnancy is very beneficial for you and your baby. Postures are adapted for Pregnancy in this class. Correct breathing is taught to promote relaxation. Yoga has been shown to reduce anxiety and to help women stay calm in pregnancy and labour. It can also improve the quality of your sleep.

** Ashtanga Yoga (the primary series)
75 minutes

Based on Patanjali”s Yoga from the Yoga Sutras (The Eight Limbs of Yoga) this age old practice goes back thousands of years. For the dedicated practitioner, the class begins with a Mantra and then flows into Sun Salutations and a sequence of Postures to build strength, flexibility and integrity. It is likened to Meditation in Motion and is the union of mind, body and soul. Classes finish with 15 mins of Shavasana (relaxation).
